So my 16th was the 27th, and I got some pretty cool gifts including a tripod and, you won't believe this, a Yashica-D twin lens reflex medium format camera. It was made around 1957 or 1958 and is in beautiful condition. The camera takes 120 roll film, so the negatives are 2 1/4" square. I told you that you wouldn't believe it. So my sister Alison has gone off to college, I miss her. It's weird being the only teen in the house, but I hope she has fun and luck. I am on the brink of the second day of the new school year, and my classes seem cool, especially Chemistry. First class I had we made ethyl alcohol fireballs. For some reason, I think I will like this class. Umm...Oh yeah, the other day my bird Polly got stuck in the piano, took like ten minutes and a severely massacred hand to get her out. But she seemed fine, even felt good enough to play George of the Jungle on the wires underneath it..hopeless..
I went to the Montpelier farmer's market yesterday, there was a beekeeper's stand selling honeycomb, so I bought some.. it's AMAZING! If you have never eaten honeycomb, you have got to try it, the best way to eat honey EVAH! (though I warn you, it's potent)
